Praxis Education Trust – Certificate No: IN-DL81225191108021R

Praxis Education Trust was founded on 13 th May, 2019.

The fundamental purpose behind the idea of Praxis is breaking the shackles of the current education system of India. We work in the domain of Access to Education and public welfare through counter-specific programmes, Skill Training, Legal Awareness, Sensitization (Gender, Health, Menstrual Health and Hygiene, Mental Health).
Our aim is to empower the youth, students and individuals studying in schools and colleges to become critical stakeholders in the change-making, democratic and development process of India.

We provide skill training in the following fields:
  • Public Speaking
  • Model United Nations
  • Filing of Right To Information
  • Interpersonal Communication
  • Soft Skills
  • Presentation skills
  • Preparation for Interviews
  • Research and writing – Articles, Research Papers, Journals etc.

We believe that access to these skills should not only be limited to the privileged classes of society. It is our aim to bridge the gap between government and private schools by giving the same platform and opportunities to the students. At a time when these skills are taught by professionals at hefty prices, we provide these services free of cost in NGO run and Government schools where students don’t have access to the same.
We are a volunteer run Non-Profit Organisation and we engage with youth volunteers on counter-specific projects keeping in mind the skill-set required to carry out the said programme/initiative.

We have worked with the following institutions namely:
Guru Harkrishan Public School, New Delhi.
Mata Gujri Public School, New Delhi
Shri Shirdi Sai Baba School, Faridabad, Haryana
BMS Law College, Bengaluru, Karnataka.

Our training sessions are divided into 10 and 20 day programmes scheduled as per the availability of time and resources at the institute.
We have also conducted a pad distribution drive wherein we distributed 3000 pads amongst 650 girls in Government Girl’s College, Chikkaballapur, Karnataka. The distribution was followed a sensitisation programme on Menstrual Health and Hygiene highlighting theimportance of the same and aspects related to it.
We have conducted awareness programmes for the victims of Tuberculosis, sharing the right information about the same in rural districts across Bengaluru, Karnataka.
‘Praxis’ means Practice’ as distinguished from theory. It is our aim to encourage, empower and inspire today’s youth to use their education as a powerful tool to bring about reform in society. We believe that each individual in this country should fight for what is right, should ask for what is rightfully theirs and should work towards the welfare of our nation and these skills become necessary to do so in an impactful manner.
We believe that if mainstream education is supplemented by parallel education, it will enable each individual to utilise their knowledge, education and skill – set and use them as tools for social change which will in turn make them leaders of today.
We aim at working with educational institutions, Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO’S) and International Organisations for achieving our goal of promoting youth leadership and strengthen Civil Society and Citizen - action.
